"Have You Met My Daughter The Artist?"

Solo Exhibition, Lauderdale House, July 1995

This was my first exhibition. The reason for the title was that despite the fact that my mother died before I showed any work, she often introduced me (particularly when inebriated) with “Have you met my daughter the artist?”

The work includes many aspects of my daily life. Walking on the heath, swimming at the women’s pond and going to yoga classes, and also a painting of my father’s funeral and son’s wedding.
