Solo Exhibtion, The Star Pub, July 2008

These paintings comprise of work that has been ongoing for the past six years.  They are explorations of memories about my childhood experiences and relationships growing up in Battersea during the fifties.

I have used pastiche from designs of fabric and wallpapers from that period which reflect the technological changes taking place and the growing development of a new consumer society.I have also used ideas from childhood comics and combined these with scenes from Battersea Park.
